She punched him in the fucking nose! She punched him in the nose! Harry was stunned by the events that had just taken place. Well, maybe stunned wasn't the perfect word of choice, annoyed probably fit better. He was however stunned when he got punched in the nose. There was no way in hell he was expecting that one, that was for damn sure. All he did was admit it. He finally admitted or well, told her that he had feelings for her. It was something he had been in a way battling the last couple weeks. First, he himself went through the denial of it all. Did he really fall for her? Would this complicate things? Okay, first off they complicated things when they slept together not once, but twice. What was wrong with him? Why did he constantly sleep with his female friends!?

Okay, it wasn't constantly, he had slept with two friends. And last time things didn't turn out so well. Maybe this was karma, maybe it was time for Harry to get the short end of the stick. Granted, he was pretty sure he had already been dealt that when he fell down the stairs around the end of summer and broke his leg. The thing was, this was different in many ways. She had kissed him back briefly, and the way she spoke, there was no indication that she did not return the feelings for him. No, it was just she didn't believe it could work. Too many obstacles. Maybe he should have kept his mouth shut, maybe it would have all gone away. Do feelings actually do that though? Okay, obviously in some forms they had to. How else would people move onto different relationships? I guess it came down to what kind of feelings they were. Strong. Lasting. All that shit that he definitely didn't understand at all.

My mind was still in overdrive, and he just didn't know what to do. He fucking walked away from her in the middle of a sidewalk in Boston. What else was he supposed to do though? The conversation wasn't going anywhere. He kept trying to break down her wall, but she wasn't having it. It wasn't fair to argue with her. An d he knew that, but he also knew he needed to be alone in that moment. A bar was where he needed to go. And it was these type of moments that he was glad that he invested in a fake ID. One more year and then he would truly be legal, but tonight, tonight that did not help Harrison Delmino one bit.

Slipping into the pub, Harry took a deep breath and headed over to the bar and sat down. Ordering himself a beer, he ran his hands down his face and winced a little when he touched his nose. Okay, so he may have over exaggerated when he made the comment about her possibly breaking his nose, but that didn't mean it still didn't hurt and wouldn't hurt for at least a little while. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought for a moment. He admits his feelings to her and she sucker punches him in the nose. They were definitely quite a pair, that was for sure.

Once his drink arrived, he thanked the guy and handed over the cash. Throwing down a couple singles for tip, he began to gulp down the beer. “Tough night?” the guy asked with a chuckle, and Harry couldn't help but wonder if it was that obvious.

“Easy to tell?”

The guy shrugged his shoulders, “You have this vibe about you.”

Nodding his head, he just sighed and finished off the beer and motioned for another, “I admitted my feelings for one of my best friends and her reaction was to punch me in the nose.” Nodding his head, he groaned, “And then continue to tell me why it couldn't happen.”

“That doesn't sound too fun, here this one's on me,” and with that the guy was gone, only to return anytime that Harry wanted a refill.

He didn't know what all this meant, but he did feel like an asshole for telling her. Then again, what good was it going to do to pretend the feelings weren't there. He was beyond trying to figure it out tonight, or at least he was hoping he was beyond that. However, he knew that it wasn't going to be easy not to replay the events in his head over and over again. He hated feelings, that was for sure.
